goin’ for a walk!

We had a group of calves down the road that we wanted to bring up to the pens to do some sorting on. Since I’ve been under the weather for what seems like “forever” (& I’ve been soooo ready to get outside) I got voted to drive the feed truck. Whoopie! We really don’t even need the truck to drive them to the pens, I guess it just helps head them in the right direction. So…I’m driving the truck and Jack & Chance are horseback gathering the steers and heifers. They marched right out the gate and up the road. Probably because I was their leader!! It felt really good to get outside.
